Kym in Argentina

"Hello to everyone!! .. sorry I can not write each of you a personal email.. but it would take me a year. Well I am here and All is good. My 20 hours of flying is over and my coodinator Juana came and picked me up from the airport. The airport lost my suitcase and I still have not gotten it back..Everyone says Manana manana!!! ¨}Tommorow tommorow..[ My host family is great. I have two twin 20 year brothers Luis and Esteban and a 14 yaer old sister Eugenia. I also have a dog named Eugenia.. I am still a little confused why they both have the same name .. but i think its because they treat the dog like of of the family. Its a cocker spanial and she has a mohawk. My host mom is named alejandra and she likes to feed me ALOT.

I am learning lots of spanish ... so much that it feels so weird to be writing in english and i keep on screwing up and writing the spanish word instaed. I was tring to explain about the ferry so I used the french word for boat instaed... They understood it as I ride a duck to get to my town. I would love to be able to understand how i sound because I am sure its ridiculous.

I went to school today. OH my goodness is it different. It{s a private school and i wear a cool green uniform.. It starts at 1pm and goes until 6pm. The classes I had today was Art, geography, and english. Art is not like the art at Elphi.. its the study of Picasso ,and Munch. In geography we had a test on Argentina..Tommorow I have spanish, philosphy and math. The teacher was very impressed cause i got some right. The english class is funny .. beacuse half of them are practicing for a play that they are putting on. Thats how it will be for the next month. I met lots of new people today and some of them invited me to go to a concert on friday with them. I am joining the lacrosse and handball team, as girls here do not play soccer. I am looking into doing Tae kwon do.

The weather. Not what you are expecting.. Everyday it had rained with huge thunderstorms. Last night it was so windy I thought my window might break. Kissing is huge here.. like france. Everytime you meet someone or see someone you kiss them on the cheek

So that is what is going on in my life, TALK TO YOU SOON and thanks again to the Terrace and Sunshine Coast Rotary Clubs for all that they helped me with!
